Shire Hall, Cambridge, with travel to sites across Cambridgeshire
Initially 13 weeks
37 hours per week
£168 per day PAYE/£225 per day Umbrella

About the job:

As a temporary Network Implementation Engineer working for Cambridgeshire County Council through Opus LGSS, you will be part of the Cambridgeshire wide WAN replacement project working with our WAN suppliers to ensure successful migration from the CPSN network delivered by Virgin to the new EastNet circuits delivered by MLL.

As a Network Implementation Engineer to the council you will:

- migrate the circuit to the new WAN
- full site testing and where required troubleshoot of any problems
- travel to all CCC sites across Cambridgeshire as defined in project schedule.


Ability to drive and transport
Ability to Work on own intuitive to resolve network related issues
CCNA or equivalent experience
Demonstrable WAN/LAN/Wi-Fi experience
Proven ability test diagnose and fix Cisco based networks
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent project delivery skills
