Overview of the position:
As the sole agency supplier to a National Maintenance Company for the provision of cleaners & support operatives, Hays are seeking to recruit a full time mobile cleaner who is willing to cover the whole of Kent.
A Van will be supplied along with a fuel card and mobile phone (work purposes only)
A Standard Vaild DBS/ CRB is required due to the nature of the environment to be cleared.
This is a Long-term Temporary to Permanent Contract.
We have several positions of varying part time afternoon shifts, which can be discussed at application stage. The cleaner role is in a unique working environment with a strong sense of team working.
Always in demand, you could benefit from long-term contracts and there is also potential, once trained, to work on other sites both locally and nationally.
You must be able to drive as a work Van is given to you.
Basic Uniform will need to be provided by the temporary worker but cleaning equipment will be provided.
Purpose of the Cleaner role:
As part of the Facilities & Waste Disposal team you will be responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness of the site. The company has an excellent reputation and often offer permanent opportunities.
Previous cleaning experience is required for this role, ideally in a commercial setting. Successful applicants will have a background in cleaning, and will be assessed based on the following competencies: Acting with integrity, respecting others, Building relationships and team working, communicating effectively, developing self and others.
All applicants will be subject to a Standard DBS/ CRB Check. You must hold a Valid Passport or Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence in your current address. All applicants must be able to provide details of 2 satisfactory references, at least one from an ex-employer.
