Job description

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Oversee the execution of product quality and provide dedicated leadership to the Spa & Salon operation
• Acts as an industry leader in the development of new and innovative Spa and Salon Services and treatments
• Maintains Spa retail operations including inventories, product lines and overall appearance
• Responsible for providing the right mix of services and ensures that all services and supplies are consistent in quality and comply with brand standards
• Ensures staff is knowledgeable on the latest techniques and spa services. Ensures staff is trained in the use or sale of products, programs and activities
• Creates an inviting atmosphere where customers are comfortable and relaxed, leading to repeat visits and referral business
• Communicates and coordinates with other departmental leaders in order to promote sales and ensure the efficient operation of the facility as well as total guest satisfaction
• Partners with casino marketing, property marketing and advertising to effectively promote the facility and build a loyal, diverse customer base
• Develops and maintains qualified management and hourly support staff as well as external vendor relationships
• Monitors and maintains labor and productivity levels and makes all necessary adjustments according to overall market and business levels
• Implements and monitors operating standards for the department and promoting excellence in guest service. Ensures staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policy
• Make procedural recommendations and ensure enforcement of existing policies and procedures
• Coach and direct staff to maintain high level of customer service
• Collaborates with senior management in planning, design and coordinating all organizational phases of the Spa and Salon operation that contribute 100% guest satisfaction
• Deliver clear direction to staff regarding the current and future objectives of the Spa operation
• Ensure adherence to all Board of Health standards and all other applicable regulations.
• Endorse the business and service objectives, ethics and values of the company
• Ensure that all guest complaints are handled in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain an accurate and overall awareness of the entire casino/hotel operation and coordinate function accordingly

Job Requirements:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Equivalent of two years college education within related field preferred. Minimum 4-6 years operation experience in a high-volume spa, hotel or resort.
