Home to the crown jewel in motorsports - the Daytona 500 - the newly renovated Daytona International Speedway is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic executive with experience in cultivating and delivering large scale hospitality programs or memorable sponsorship programs to businesses locally, nationally and worldwide. Starting with a small group of existing accounts, this Sales Manager will be responsible for creating new business either in the form of new programs with some existing accounts, upsells or identifying new companies wishing to be a part of the spectacular events at the "World Center of Racing." We are looking for someone who has done this before, perhaps with another sports property, and has cultivated and developed hospitality, premium seating and/or sponsorship programs. This is someone who relishes building relationships and delivering spectacular once-in-a-life time events for companies and their customers. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Sales and Director of Sales on priorities and approach to the market
  • Review list of current clients and potential upsells or renewals
  • Identify potential prospects and approach to encouraging them to work with Daytona International Speedway
  • Create a weekly and monthly touchpoint program with current clients, new clients and record in CRM
  • Regularly schedule and attend events to meet new executives and build your professional network
  • Work closely with the Client Services team to help deliver memorable experiences for Daytona customers
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of sales - either premium seating or sponsorship sales experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Sales/Sports Management
  • Understanding of sponsorship/hospitality sales, event marketing and activation process
  • Ability to confidently communicate the value of sponsorship & hospitality offerings
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of the applicable organizations
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, results oriented and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required
  • Strong computer skills in all aspects of Microsoft Office and Database Management
