As a Maintenance Worker at a Witherslack Group school, you'll make sure the grounds and buildings are in first-class condition. Every day, you'll be undertaking repairs, from fixing windows and touching up or renewing paint work, to helping keep our school vehicles on the road and using your green fingers to attend to grounds and gardens. It's a varied role and offers the chance to work with a friendly team and to take pride in creating truly attractive surroundings where our young people will thrive.
Your previous Maintenance experience, or strong background in DIY, will mean you're a fantastic all-rounder, who loves rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in. A relevant qualification (e.g. Joinery, Plumbing, and Electrical) and knowledge of health and safety do's and don'ts would be an advantage, but are not essential. What's more important to us is your attitude, expertise and your naturally helpful approach. You'll also be a great teamworker who can support and guide other employees when they're looking for your help.
