The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in assisted living, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. This practice includes dependent and interdependent functions. In addition the licensed practical nurse may assist with the direct resident care, recreational therapy services, environmental care, restorative care, equipment use, and food preparation and services.
This is a full-time position, 64 hours per pay period. This position can be filled with either an LPN or RN.
LPN: Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training, or experience requirements.
Long term care, sub-acute care, medical/surgical experience preferred.
Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.
