Job description

* Objective for this position is to prep food on the line with efficiently, correctly, while keeping great presentation and quality of food in mind.* This position will be working closely with the Kitchen Manager + Lead Line Cook/Expo to prep customer orders * Must be organized, team oriented & follow established food prep standards* Must understand & execute the FIFO system daily to rotate, label & date prepared food * Good knife skills & have current food handlers permit (available to take online)* 1 year + experience in a similar fast casual dining * Assure that your daily actions reflect Lolas core values* Must be reliable, honest and punctual* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs* Must have reliable transportation* Hourly compensation is based on skills & experience* High school diploma or beyondSHIFTS* FT shifts: 6am-2:30pm, 7-4:30 & 9:30am-6pm (flexibility with shift hours if needed) * 40 hrs/week includes one weekend day /Part time 25+ hrs/week, includes one weekend day* Includes a paid meal per each 8 hour shiftABOUT LOLAS CAFELolas Cafe is a family owned community cafe in Ladera Ranch, serving fresh quality gourmet food, coffees, teas and baked goods.
