Job description

We are excited to be working with a leading planning and development consultancy in Worcestershire. You will be joining a friendly, supportive and vibrant team based in Worcestershire. With no 'glass ceiling' the practice offers excellent opportunities for developing your career (they love nothing more than promoting and rewarding their staff!). Continued Professional Development will be provided, and you will have a dedicated individual in the business for 1-2-1 mentoring and support. In addition, all costs involving further training and/or qualifications (including working towards APC, RTPI etc.) will be covered.

Joining a small but growing team of Planners and will have exposure to a variety of projects of varying sizes across a wide portfolio of clients. You will be working closely with the Planning Director; assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals for residential and commercial developments (local and UK wide).

Busy and varied, your role will involve the provision of offering planning advise, the preparation, submission and management of planning applications, appeals and local plan representations as well as attending appeal hearings and public inquiries.

To be considered for this position, you will have a relevant degree and have a minimum of 12 months industry experience in planning (ideally in Consultancy, but Public Sector experience will also be considered). You should have experience of preparing, managing, assessing and/or submitting planning applications. Experience of contributing to, or appearing at appeal hearings, public enquiries and EiP would be extremely beneficial, but not essential for this post.

Above all, culture is everything for this team - therefore if you're a naturally outgoing individual, career driven and have good sense of humour you will fit right in!

In return, you will work for a leading organisation offering exposure to a wide portfolio of projects, a competitive salary, excellent training and development and flexibility.

All applications will remain completely confidential. If you are interested in this or any other Planning opportunity, please give Donna a call on (phone number removed) or apply with your CV to this advert
