IT Implementation Manager / IT Project Manager

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED IT IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER / IT PROJECT MANAGER. This role is available due to company growth. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills this position will suit a proven Project Manager with a strong IT Technical background.
We offer an excellent pay package; £40-£45K basic with project completion bonus(s) and other benefits such as car allowance, sick pay, pension scheme to name a few.
PROMAN in the UK is a part of PROMAN Group (1.8 Billion Euro Sales). In the UK we are currently employing 120+ employees and aiming to grow further. The role would be predominately based in Manchester however some daily travel may be required to other branches and onsite offices, this will include our Bristol, East Midlands, London, Yorkshire and Liverpool based locations.
The company is preparing for the substantial growth and therefore requires an experienced Project Manager to lead key IT projects.
The main purpose of this role is to provide a strategic IT business analysis service; the situational analysis of the current software infrastructure would take the priority to start with.
You will be working on a portfolio of established products and you will be key to stakeholder management, requirement gathering and essentially working between the business and technology. The successful candidate will be working closely with business services to gain in-depth understanding of the company's IT strategy and the context in which IT projects and programmes operate.
We would like the IT Implementation Manager to take on the responsibility for reviewing processes from end to end to identify and address technological risks, whilst identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
The successful candidate will play a major part at all stages of implementation projects including researching, buying and negotiating deals, presentation of our requirements to 3rd party suppliers, analysis, training and installation of the software.
We would like a successful candidate to work collaboratively and in a supportive manner within the Business operations team and other departments to ensure that the overall aims and objectives of the company are achieved.
Your main duties will include;
Project management, planning and monitoring projects and lifecycle progression
Taking ownership for all project related issues
Delivering business improvements and supporting the business change programme
Offering advice on process improvements and technical solutions
Planning software design and implementation projects
Dealing with 3rd party suppliers and negotiate terms of service
Recommending solutions to software related issues
Taking charge of maintenance activities of current software
Ensuring that all technical project related queries/ calls are completed to the satisfaction of all concerned parts
Ensuring processes are documented and up to date
Line management of an IT apprentice (1 year qualified)
Involvement in product planning and budget management (working cooperatively with FD)
Continually building the knowledge on the software products and IT solutions that may be beneficial to the business
Producing regular reports for the Board
The successful candidate would have proven experience of Project Management. As an IT Implementation Manager, you will be comfortable liaising and engaging with a range of stakeholders from both the Technical Support team and the wider business. The role would report to the Senior Management Team to which you will be reporting the progress of all ongoing projects. You will be working directly with the apprentice who currently provides 1st line support to the business and a third-party provider who is responsible for all 2nd line support enquiries.
Ideally the successful candidate would have worked to ISO 9001 quality standards. Also experience of working with Prince 2 quality review would be advantages.
