Job description

SUMMARY

The IT/Data Manager has overall responsibility for the Ogden,UT site IT support; management, retention, and transmission of program data;and maintenance and improvement of AARs customer facing metrics and documentrepository portal for the LGPBL1 program.

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manages ongoing operation and continuous improvement of AARsTAVP portal, coordinating upgrades and enhancements with AAR HQ personnel whennecessary

* Analyses data to monitor program performance including failurerates, material utilization, procurement statistics, and financial results

* Creates data based periodic contract deliverables (CDRLs) forsubmission to the customer

* Works closely with the Program Manager, Reliability Engineer,Contracts Manager, and Operations Manager, among others, to ensure system dataand CDRLs are accurate and available in a timely manger

* Interfaces with customer counterparts to maintain systeminterfaces and trouble shoot issues as they arise

* Develops and maintains automated workflows for the submissionand disposition of government forms and deliverables

* Provides IT support services to AAR employees at the Ogden,UT PMO, warehouse, and Hill AFB depot facilities

* Diagnoses the specific nature of hardware and/or softwareproblems and develops and implements solutions

* Maintains IT site asset records and logs

* Recommends, promotes, and manages technology improvementprojects

* Anticipates problems and works to proactively mitigate them

* Ensures tasks are completed within estimated time frames andbudget constraints

* Travel may be required

* All other duties as assigned

EDUCATIONand/or EXPERIENCE:

Required

* Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in an applicable field fromfour-year college or university; or ten (10) years related experience

* Minimum of Three (3) years of experience in an applicabledata or technology management role

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired

* Experience with government-contractor systems interfaces

* Experience with DLA Transaction Services

* Experience with SharePoint

* Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence

* Knowledge of USAF IT operations at Hill or Scott Air Forcebase

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift and carry boxes and other awkward itemsweighing up to 50 lbs, including up and down stairs. Requires intermittentstanding, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout theworkday. Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics that will enablethese senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of thisposition can be fully met.
