In order to maintain and further improve this achievement, an exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within the motivated Infection Prevention Team. We are looking to appoint an Enthusiastic Infection Prevention Nurse Band 7 to join our Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the care of our patients, preventing infections by working with a Multidisciplinary Team across the Trust.

This role will be challenging but extremely rewarding. For this you must hold,be willing and be working towards holding a recognised qualification in Infection Prevention and Experience of working across the Health Care Economy (Community and\/or Acute Environments).

You will work both autonomously and as part of the Infection Prevention Team across all Trust sites and be responsible for delivering key aspects of Infection Prevention, working as part of a small but motived dedicated team providing day-to-day specialist support, development and implementation of systems to improve the quality of infection prevention management, delivery of National Directives and managing complex Clinical and Operational situations in regards to staff and patient safety.

You will be required to being self-motivated, having good Organisational Skills, ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ability to influence others, a flexible approach to work and be willing to continuously update your knowledge and practice in response to changing priorities, evolving issues and new evidence.

Salaries for this role will be offered in alignment with the NHS Agenda for Change terms and conditions.
