Job description

The Human Resources Business Partner provides tactical and strategic HR consultation to optimize talent management, culture, talent acquisition and employee-focused programs and processes with the goal of supporting the business in achieving exceptional results. Reporting to the VP of Talent, the ideal candidate is a subject matter expert and displays the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities

HR Business Partner

  • Provides frontline HR support across all levels of the organization
  • Partners with business leaders to provide strategic HR counsel
  • Facilitates regular staffing and utilization discussions
  • Manages employee relations and consults on risk management
  • Designs, implements and manages employee focused programs
  • Supports HR hygiene items such as job description maintenance, compliance initiatives, etc.

Performance Management & Training

  • Manages companywide performance management program
  • Promotes participation, rigor and effectiveness of tools, feedback, and career focused conversations
  • Oversees companywide mentor program

Culture & Engagement

  • Promotes, leads and encourages employee activity and buy-in on culture-focused programming
  • Helps to facilitate regular employee engagement surveys
  • Serves as eyes and ears of employees to keep a pulse and propose change when needed
  • Participates in employee-led Culture Club and assists with office events

New Hire Onboarding

  • Facilitates online hiring process in ADP/HRIS system
  • Manages new employee onboarding presentations and scheduling of new hires first week
  • Runs background checks and assesses for risk
  • As needed, facilitates employment verifications


  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience as an HR generalist, HR Business Partner, HR Manager or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws
  • Experiencing mediating and managing employee relations situations
  • Experience with full cycle recruitment across various levels
  • Ability to partner with all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to design and manage the execution employee-focused programs
  • Displays strong judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, organized
  • Ability to work autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Data-driven and fact-based in decision making and producing business rationale
  • Solid project management experience
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
