Project Manager

REED Engineering are delighted to be working closely with a well-established manufacturing business with exciting expansion plans in the North-East. The client is seeking to employ an experienced Project Manager on a permanent basis to join the growing team based in the Stockton-on-Tees area.

As Project Manager, some of your key duties will include:

• Working with wider functions to support Project activities, tenders and quotes as necessary.
• Manage the processes of the project life cycle from initial hand over to close out.
• Ensuring all communications support the project, including action trackers, minutes of meetings and documentation control.
• Manage all aspects of project performance.
• Ensuring the final deliverable is complete to customer specification, and accompanied with the list of customer documentation.
• Understanding and setting out the project deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders, including progress meetings with customers and internal project reviews.
• Understanding and setting up project budgets, feeding into ERP system, invoice control and cash flow reporting.
• Maintaining accurate project reports and robust margin control.
• Ensuring milestones / invoices are submitted timely and with the appropriate documentation.
• Working with the business to ensure that correct resources and suppliers are "On-board" to ensure delivery, within the necessary budgets and quality requirements.
• Commercial understanding and execution of projects to the best advantage of the business.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• HNC (or higher) qualified or equivalent.
• Formal Project Management qualification is desirable, but not required to apply.
• Previous experience of Project Management.
