Job description

Academics is seeking an Learning Support Assistants to work in our lovely local primary schools. As a Leaning Support Assistant, you will need to use your initiative to help best support them. This is a fantastic platform for aspiring people who would like to go into their teaching qualifications.

Requirements:

• Have strong subject knowledge within English Maths and Science (GCSE A - C)
• Be passionate about supporting children with their learning
• The ability to keep children engaged and motivated
• Be enthusiastic, friendly and confident
• Have strong communication skills
• Have good behaviour management skills
• Experienced in working with children

You will be working with students on a 1:1 basis and groups to help support children's learning in addition to providing a safe and inclusive environment where all children's needs are established and valued. You will give the extra support to children who are both struggling and overachieving in the classroom to help them reach their full potential.
