Your new role
You will join an existing estate and building surveying team to provide professional estate maintenance and project management of improvements across five schools in the Reading region. As a well-rounded building surveyor, you will undertake condition surveys, prepare maintenance plans, cost estimates, oversee statutory compliance and deliver associated minor capital improvement projects in order to meet the needs of the trust on an individual school basis.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to possess excellent technical design skills, as well as producing specifications, tenders, contract administration and project management of minor capital projects. You will need to have a HNC level or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area (construction / building surveying).

What you'll get in return
You will receive an excellent suite of benefits upon joining this trust, which include 29 days paid holiday (rising to 32 days after 5 years' service), reimbursed travel expenses and membership of the LGPS local government pension scheme! - In addition to this, you'll receive a starting salary of £42,000 - £47,000 per year.
