Job description

1st/2nd Line Service Desk Analyst - Perm - Burnley, Lancashire

Essential:- experience working in a Desktop and Windows Server support role. On site, there will be a level of physical ability for occasional manual handling of equipment. Excellent customer service experience. Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows 8.1 & 10, PC laptop builds, configuration and installation, PC's Printers Scanner etc. Awareness of Asset Management.

1sr/2nd Line Service key responsibilities

Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support - remotely & in person.
Service Desk ticketing knowledge
Excellent customer service skills to delivery great customer satisfaction.
PC laptop Build/configuration, Installation, and awareness of asset management
Basic Server Administration (file shares, permissions, 365/Exchange)
Active directory - User Creation - Creation, Amendment, Deletion, Assignment
Escalate calls to 3rd line support analysts if the problem is more complex.

1st/2nd Line Service Desk Analyst experience:

Excellent front end customer service skills
Proven track record with troubleshooting and delivering an excellent service to key stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause and implement controlled changes (RCA - Root cause analysis skills)
Must be able to communicate clearly
A demonstrable passion for customer service and personal development
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Must be flexible in their approach to travel and projects undertaken
Sound organisational ability and able to prioritise and document.
Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group code of conduct
Able to motivate the yourself and the team in a structured, supportive and proactive way, working to KPIs and SLAs.
Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.

1st/2nd Line Service Desk Analyst desirable but not essential skills:

ITIL - V3 foundation or above
Knowledge of ITSM
Knowledge of Helpdesk Systems and ITIL Best Practice
Telephony Systems
Video Conferencing
Project Management Skills/Knowledge - Six Sigma / Prince 2
Training will be provided for this role
Shift work, 6-2, 2-10, 9 - 5

May be some occasional travel to other sites

Driving license and car required

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
