Pure Staff Ltd are recruiting for Quality Inspector (s) for our client in Cheltenham, Gloucester.

Working for a well-established name in Cheltenham operating out of the manufacturing and production sector working alongside Aerospace contractors

.

You will be working on a high-performance shop floor keeping up with the standards our client expects.

Duties for the Quality Inspector role are as follows:

• Inspecting aerospace parts to drawing by utilising various measuring equipment, inspecting to drawing tolerances throughout all processes and completed parts working to priority lists to fulfil customer needs.
• Assist in Labelling and packing to required spec and checking delivery certs/ paperwork.
• Assist in booking in and inspecting product.
• Support 1st off checks within the inspection department as required to aid the flow of work throughout the shop floor and grinding shop.

• Work with the rest of the Quality team to deliver continual improvement across the department.
• Work with the rest of the Quality department to ensure that all production areas Quality Control requirements are supported.
• Produce inspection reports on items requiring First Article Inspection
• Raise Internal and Supplier rejects.
• Escalating issues found to the correct party in a timely manner.
• You may be required to complete other tasks, as required by the business.
• Assist with calibration on a weekly/ monthly basis to keep calibration of all equipment up to date.

Please be aware you will not be considered for this role unless you have previously worked in the aerospace sector before.

Hours of work for this Quality Inspector role are as follows:

Monday to Thursday

08:00 till 17:00
Friday 08.00 till 12.00
Pay for this role is 11.98 per hour (Subject to increase depending on experience)

This is an ongoing position and will lead to a permanent placement if successful through a regularly reviewed probation period of 3 months.
