Job Title: Unqualified Maths Teacher

Location: Essex

Daily Rate: £100 - £180 a day

Start date: May 2024

About the Role - Unqualified Maths Teacher

  • The role in question involves teaching Mathematics on a full-time
  • The Mathematics department is considered among the strongest in the school with the current grades being the best the school have ever received at GCSE and A-level.
  • The ideal candidate will have solid experience teaching Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4
  • The department is well resourced and very supportive so applications are welcomed from applicants at all levels of their teaching careers.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree and QTS, experience in teaching Maths at the secondary school level, or a strong understanding of the Maths curriculum.

Role Overview:

  • Teach Maths up to Key Stage 4, with the possibility of accommodating primary trained teachers with a Maths interest to teach a KS3 timetable.
  • Engage students in dynamic and interactive lessons to foster a love for mathematics.
  • Contribute to the school's ethos of academic excellence and holistic student development.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable teaching Maths up to Key Stage 4 preferred.
  • Primary trained teachers with a passion for Maths will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to student progress and welfare
