Atrium Recruitment is thrilled to present an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor initially based in Cambridge, with the candidate ideally being located in Essex. We are searching for a strong Quantity Surveyor/Senior QS who is ready to join a main contractor and to take the lead on this prestigious £115 million residential scheme, featuring apartments and houses. With a diverse project portfolio, spanning residential and commercial ventures up to £175 million, there's plenty of room for career growth and advancement.

Your Role: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial aspects of a £115 million residential scheme in Cambridge. Reporting directly to the Project Director and Surveying Director, your key responsibilities will include cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and budget management. Collaborating closely with the project team, you'll ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

This is a full-time site based role, the working hours are 8am to 6pm and you will have an AQS supporting you.

What We're Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale residential or commercial projects
• Sound understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control techniques
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying
