Commercial Manager - M&E

A family-owned mechanical and electrical construction company based in the South-East is looking for a Commercial Manager to head-up a small team of mechanical and electrical estimators. This is suitable for both existing Commercial Managers, Senior Estimators or Estimating Managers

Package:

• Salary 70,000 to 80,000 depending on experience
• Car allowance 7000
• Net profit bonus
• Hybrid
• 25 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday

Role:

• Manage the commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations
• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met
• Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and review tender documents and proposals
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
