Role and Responsibilities:

  • Skilled in developing and applying innovative teaching strategies tailored to engage students and foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, specifically aligned with Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum requirements.
  • Experienced in employing teaching techniques that effectively support students from varied backgrounds, promoting equity and inclusivity in the classroom.
  • Capable of building positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to cultivate a collaborative educational environment.
  • Committed to nurturing students' social-emotional well-being by integrating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) principles into daily lessons and interactions, addressing the developmental needs of Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Dedicated to maintaining a growth-oriented mindset, actively seeking opportunities for self-reflection, feedback, and professional development to continually enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Open to participating in school-wide initiatives, committees, and professional learning communities to contribute to improving school culture and instructional practices, focusing on Key Stage 3 and 4 education.
  • Proficient in designing well-organized lesson plans aligned with Key Stage 3 and 4 curriculum standards.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
  • Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply
  • Be a committed team player
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills
  • Able to commute to and from Prestwood and surrounding areas
