Aker Solutions Electrification, Maintenance & Modifications (EMM) segment are looking for a number of UK based Instrument Engineers to support several Electrification contracts in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. What will you be doing? System Engineering Instrument engineering Preparing requisitions and specifications for instrument field equipment and SAS/ICSS/DCS site supervisory and control system modifications, especially those interfacing with electrical equipment, including clarifications, negotiations and change control Approval of supplier documentation and follow up delivery of equipment and documentation such functional specifications, technical specifications and typical instrument drawings. Preparing documentation for onshore and offshore installation Estimating of cost and weight in a multi-discipline environment Participation in onshore/offshore survey and equipment FAT/SATs Delivering results and meeting customer expectationsWe think you should have: Skills and Levels Description: 5+ years relevant experience Ability to work independently, but it is also important to be able to work in teams. Good communication skills Relevant experience from project work Cross cultural attitude and ability to work across locationsPersonal Qualities: A strong desire to realise a monumental reduction in CO2 emissions throughout the industry Committed to playing a part in solving the global energy challenges for future generations.
