Our Client is currently looking for a Subsurface Team Lead, on a permanent basis. Located in Aberdeen, UK.
Purpose of Role:
â Maximize the value of assets by delivering business plan targets through, project delivery, resource maturation and reserves growth.
MAE/MATTE and HSE Critical Responsibilities:
â Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Client HSEQ procedures
â Maximize value of Catcher asset through identification, maturation, planning and implementation of opportunities.
Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence Level:
â Supervise multi-discipline subsurface team and support direct reports to ensure delivery of high quality subsurface
â Create and move new drilling opportunities through the VOSG process
â Develop and communicate clear strategy and direction for the Operated Asset subsurface team
â Identify and mature opportunities to improve value. Maintain a portfolio ranking of all hub led opportunities
â Ensure accurate reserves, long range production forecasting and LRP inputs
â Ensure conformance to all required internal and external standards
â Maintain and enhance functional integration to add value and to ensure development of the team
â Provide support and mentoring to more junior members of the subsurface team
â Work closely with CoVs to ensure alignment and support of Client goals
â Maintain and enhance Client reputation to external stakeholders including OGA / CoVs
â Contribute to hub reservoir management and surveillance plans
â Liaise with Exploration to understand non-hub led activities and contribute experience where necessary
â Integrate with Production Performance group so that well intervention activities achieve maximum value
â Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager
Critical Skills Qualifications Experience, etc.:
â A degree in Sciences, Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
â Strong GGRE technical background
â Good understanding of business principles.
â Familiarity with the relevant Client workflows
â Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
â Demonstratable stakeholder management skills both internally and externally - ability to learn from and influence others
â Strong personal leadership and drive towards teamwork
