An outstanding secondary school and sixth form in Trafford is looking to recruit a graduate who is a prospective future teacher and looking to join the future teacher's programme. The school are looking to take the successful graduate on from the February half term onwards with the possibility of starting sooner during this half term. This will be a full time support role which will include the full range of roles including supporting in the classroom, providing 1 to 1 intervention and support as well as covering lessons in your subject speciality. Ideally looking for a Maths or English graduate but very open to taking on a graduate of a Humanities background, there is the opportunity to move onto a school based contract and move onto the school's direct teacher training programme.
As a Teaching Assistant/Future Teacher, the school are keen to secure and employ a confident graduate who already has a vested interest in the education sector and is keen to progress in their career.

As a prospective future teacher, the successful graduate should have some experience of supporting within a school environment or similar setting and therefore be looking for further valuable experience in a secondary school. Graduates who have experience of supporting students are highly encouraged to apply now. This role will include supporting a wide range of students aged 11 - 16 in the main with opportunity to gain experience in a sixth form setting aswell.
The school is located in the Trafford area of Greater Manchester making it very easy to access via the M60 motorway network or for those travelling from the nearby areas of Chorlton, Hulme, Levenshulme, Longsight, Didsbury and Stockport. The school is a large sized secondary school which has a sixth form on offer to students which is consistently over-subscribed.
