In this brand new position we are looking for a proactive professional to be part of this social welfare organisation as they embark on this new stage of their development. You will contribute and provide support to the fundraising and events team and lead on all administration and organisation of organisations external events. The CharityA social welfare charity making an impact on the cycle of poverty to transform the lives of vulnerable children. The RoleYou will also be responsible for supporting with fundraising administration and research of new prospective funders, to grow the funding pipeline and income, as well as providing some general office management support.In this role you will also...Support the Fundraising & Events Officer with developing the existing programme of events throughout the year as well as the broader event planning.Directed by the Fundraising & Events Officer, lead on venue sourcing and management, catering, and resource management for the organisations external-facing events.Research speakers and topics for leadership seminars and other external events.Collaborate with teams across the organisation to build event invitation lists. Coordinate and manage the invitations and responses from invitees, working with the Fundraising & Events.Lead on on-the-day logistics at events, including volunteer management and compliance with health and safety procedures.Take responsibility for managing the administration of the fundraising function, including keeping Salesforce accounts up-to-date, requesting payments and thanking donors.Support the Partnerships Manager by attending internal fundraising planning meetings and recording actions and sharing this across the team.Research and reporting on new prospective funding partners, and record this on Salesforce. The CandidateThis role requires someone who is enthusiastic about working in fundraising. The successful candidate will haveExperience of working in events and of working in a sales or fundraising role.Experience of working in a fast paced and busy office environment and providing outstanding administrative support.A strong interest in and enthusiasm to develop skills in fundraising.Strong IT skills Essential Intermediate competencies in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook andCRM (ideally Salesforce).
