CNSP is owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses, the economic engine of Cherokee Nation, the largest Native American tribe in the U.S. One-hundred percent of the company's profits support future business investments and the well-being of the tribe's citizens through health care, education and job creation, ensuring better lives for Cherokees today and tomorrow.For more company information, visit our site at CNSP is looking for a Financial Specialist to support USAID, Latin America and Caribbean Bureau, Western Hampshire (USAID/LAC) as the financial manager responsible for financial oversight of this contract.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIncludes the following:Responsible for the financial oversight of the contract Fiscal and administrative management of this contract regarding budgeting, financial reporting (including disaggregated by either a job-costing basis or multiple funding sources, as requested by the COR), Analysis/forecasting for multiple individual funding sources and their various budget components, monitoring and tracking labor costs, and pipeline tracking and reporting. Performs other job related duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITYThere is no supervisory and/or management authority for this position. Supervision and management authority will be provided by the Program Manager EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEFive years' professional experience with USAID is preferred. Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, financial management and/or business administration. Candidates will be subject to a US federal government background investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESMust have familiarity with managing and reporting on multiple funding sources and various budget components Must have familiarity with USAID funding mechanisms WORK ENVIRONMENTWork will be in a controlled and secured office environment in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area and there could be limited travel to USAID Missions in LAC.
