Job description

My client is looking to hire a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. Based in their offices in London this is a fantastic role for a Part Qualified Finalist level candidate.

Key Responsibilities

·Work with the business owners to develop their annual plan, budget and forecasts. Monitor the effective delivery of the business plan throughout the year; tracking, challenging, reporting and communicating progress against targets to business owners.
·Assist in the preparation of the periodic management accounts including P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis and commentary, and contribution analysis across revenue streams.
·Partner with the business area Heads to provide value adding support, guidance, analysis and challenge.
·Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual financial analysis and management information is in line with the organisation's performance framework and is prepared to a high quality and on a timely basis.
·Collaborate with the business owners to develop longer term, strategic financial plans in support of business objectives as required.
·Liaise with the Financial Control team to support month end and audit queries.

Qualifications and experience

·Finalist ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent).
·Solid commercial experience gained in industry or professional services.
·Graduate calibre.
·Previous experience in financial analysis and modelling would be advantageous.

Skills and attributes

·Strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Able to build reports and models (P&L, balance sheet, FTE, ad-hoc analysis etc.) from scratch with no or little guidance.
·Good business partnering skills and the ability to work effectively with and influence key stakeholders. Highly driven by the opportunity to further develop these skills.
·Ability to think strategically and beyond the impacts of finance, identifying both risks and opportunities.
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to bridge financial knowledge gaps.
·Resilient and determined, able to work under pressure and flexibly when required.
·Advanced in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent finance system skills.
·Knowledge of SUN and Q&A would be advantageous.
