If you have recently gained a degree level/ level 4 (or equivalent) qualification in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering and are keen to start a career in the chemical manufacturing sector then this opportunity may be just right for you!
Our client is pleased to be able to offer a unique opportunity to provide graduates with the chance to work alongside our industry experts to gain job specific training and experience whilst earning a salary. Furthermore, graduates will have the opportunity to continuing to enhance their skills by study towards nationally recognised qualifications.
The programme is tailored to enable graduates to develop their knowledge and experience whilst broadening their business perspectives. The successful candidate will be offered a structured programme to ensure that they are provided will all the relevant skills to carry out a role within their chosen specialism.
Year 1 of the graduate programme involves spending valuable time working within all departments of the business within the order to cash cycle.
This includes office based, manufacturing based, and field-based activities.
This 12-month period provides the successful candidate with a broader understanding of the Christeyns business, and the various divisions within the company.
Upon completion of year 1 graduates will be offered the opportunity to select preferred specialisms/departments to focus on throughout the remainder of the programme.
Graduates will complete the following NVQ qualification during year 1:
* NVQ level 3 in Business Improvement Techniques
Year 2 & Onwards
Graduates will be provided with specific on the job training in their chosen specialisms/departments and will be given the opportunity to carry out project work within these areas.
Furthermore, if appropriate graduates may elect to carry out additional study to enhance their role specific qualifications.
How long does the Programme take?
The length of the programme will depend on the level of qualification selected. Typically, our programmes last between 2 - 4 years.
