Little Yellow Duck Recruitment has an opportunity for an FM Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join an award-winning Global FM provider.
This position will be primarily based on a static site in Inverness where you will be based within the client's premises. Additionally you will be working as part of the mobile maintenance team- Approx 80/20 split of your time.
Within this role you will be responsible for carrying out all planned, preventative and reactive maintenance with additional small works as and when required - for all Electrical requirements within the building(s).
The successful the candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient engineering maintenance and reactive works whilst providing excellent customer service to the client.
Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
To undertake PPM, pro-active and reactive works issued through the helpdesk or directly from the client to ensure all maintenance requirements are met.
To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
Ensuring that equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
Ensuring equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards.
Providing a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
Take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
Being fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
Ensuring that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and policies.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Approved Electrician NVQ level 3
City & Guilds 2391 - Testing & Inspection
17th/18th Edition
CSCS Skillcard (Can be obtained upon successful interview if not already held)
Previous experience working within a facilities management/ building maintenance environment.
Full clean driving license.
Completion of a full disclosure is a contractual requirement

Salary up to £32,000 per annum

Working hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week.
