What Youll Be Doing
Do you have a proven appetite for sales that translates to success for yourself and your direct reports?
As the Director of Sales you will offer key strategies by collaborating with our Sales team with tasks related to creating and implementing national sales plans for Account Executives, Senior Account Executives, and other National Sales Representatives.
The Director of Sales role also has management responsibilities for members of the Sales Team.

What Youll Be Doing
Determine Profit Plans and sales goals with VP of Sales
Contribute to the annual business planning process with the Senior Management team
Support goal and metric alignment across the division
Perform reporting by market segment
Perform year-to-date performance vs. goal analysis quarterly and annually
Perform market lead reports and track leads, especially tradeshow lead activity and analysis
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions, territories, and corporate accounts, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
Determine sales objectives by analyzing industry trends and competition with suites of products
Implement National Sales Programs by developing field sales action plans with various departments
Coordinate with Marketing to align with sales message and objectives
Forecast and prioritize with Development to determine if Developments projects meet client needs and interests
Maintain sales volume and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Negotiate contracts and determine discounts
Work with VP of Sales and Executive Management regarding discount authority decisions
Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand
Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results and monitor individual goals
Build teamwork and communication between departments, recognize strong contributors, and remove obstacles that detract from attracting and retaining clients
Support and participate in leadership development and succession planning
Maintain Sales staff by counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal and professional networks, and participating in professional networks
Participate in the annual User Group Conference and other management meetings as appropriate
What Youll Bring to the Table
Bachelors Degree in business or a related field desired
Five years of management experience preferred
Ten years of experience in sales preferred
Strong communication skills and time management skills
Excellent organizational skills
Strong project management skills
Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills
Ability to set priorities effectively
Ability to effectively lead a team
Excellent domain expertise
Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office
