Job description

My Client a leading national Private Hospital Group are looking for a Director of operations and Integration to join them at their Head Office based within London.

You will oversee and direct a consistent approach to clinical pathways across the group. This is to ensure they centralise outstanding standards of care throughout and apply universal compliant pathway practice across each individual flagship hospitals.

The Director of Operations and Integration will report to the Executive Chief Nursing Officer and Medical Director at the London Head Office and is responsible for the efficient and effective deployment of clinical initiatives, pathways and processes to support patient care across the group.

The successful candidate will lead efforts to improve quality outcomes and clinical operations in a way that contributes to an enhanced experience for staff and patients and facilitate key process improvements and patient access measures. This will include working strategically with our Insurers and Governance teams on processes relating to consistent clinical protocols and provide evidence they have been implemented to increase our market share overall.

The role requires someone with a clinical registration, e.g NMC, a progressive clinical background, significant knowledge of Clinical Pathway implementation and the Clinical Governance associated with such clinical pathways.

The ideal candidate will have;

* Private and public clinical and strategic healthcare experience at Senior Management Level in acute/hospital settings.

* Effective leadership skills to influence a vast range of internal and external stakeholders from Executives, Medical Consultants, Chief Nursing Officers and Governance Leads to Commissioners and Insurers.

Successful candidates will need to be able to;

* Demonstrate senior management experience of clinical risk management assurance, professional and operational strategic planning, planning/provision of clinical education, clinical workforce planning and successful change management.

* Demonstrate commercial knowledge of the healthcare market - acute services
