DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES Director of Human Resources The County of Washington is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Human Resources. This position directs and oversees, through the staff, the County's Human Resources, Labor Relations and Occupational Safety and Health activities; to ensure that policies, programs, and practices are implemented in the following areas: Employment, Human Resources, Compensation, Benefits, Training, EEO/Affirmative Action, Performance Management, Records Management, Workers' Compensation, Safety, and Conflict Resolution; to direct and oversee the daily operations of the department, including staff supervision. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, labor relations or related field and significant experience in Human Resources and Labor Relations Management is required. Must be able to exercise the skill of persuasion and balance sensitivity to people with business needs and goals confidentially, fairly and consistently. Interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and computer skills are required. ?
