This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Hotel Director of Finance to be island based off the coast of East Africa.
We are looking for someone who is able to manage, train and develop a small accounts office team from scratch and who can work closely with the General Manager to re-establish and organise the department. Your background should show a thorough understanding of hotel control, financial, accounting procedures and operating systems. You should also have been in a similar position within a luxury remote resort style property with a turnover of at least US$6m per year.
This assignment could be the perfect chance for a talented Assistant with strong hotel finance all round record, currently deputising for a Hotel Director of Finance, to achieve their first "number 1 role".
Our client has asked for candidates with an understanding of the working culture of the region who are able to live and work in an island location. It is essential that candidates can show that they have set up and organsied the day to procedures within a resort finance department .This is a single status position.
