Nike Finance employees play a key role in that progress by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive value for every Nike shareholder. They manage accounting and reporting for Nike's multi-billion-dollar global investment portfolio, debt and equity instruments, and other Treasury activities. They strategize, forecast, audit, analyze, budget, research and lead important decisions. Across Nike's diverse geographies and businesses, Finance employees deliver far more than just the numbers.
Will drive sustainable, profitable, and capital-efficient growth in Beaverton, OR. Will lead a team of high-performing individuals and partner closely with executive leadership and teams across various functions such as Business Planning, Global Strategic Planning, Gross Margin Management, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations. Will be accountable for leading in-year financial management and business planning processes across the entire portfolio. Will help guide, influence, and drive priorities by managing the development of insightful strategic and financial analysis, storytelling and presentation content for Corporate Quarterly Business Reviews, Board of Directors meetings and Earnings Release calls. Will directly supervise two reports. Will engage in five percent or less domestic and international travel.
Education: Master's degree in business, accounting, business administration, or finance. Experience: four years of experience working at a Fortune 500 company that produces consumer products, a management consulting firm, or an investment bank. Skills/Requirements: 1 year of experience: (1) performing work in the area of Finance, Corporate Strategy, or Portfolio Management; (2) coordinating the activities of a cross-functional team and providing project management support; (3) analyzing and managing financial forecasts for a portfolio of countries and providing recommendations to senior leadership based upon those forecasts; (4) communicating and presenting executive level reports to senior management; (5) evaluating return on investments and business case proposals to help management prioritize investments and capital deployment; (6) evaluating market research and competitor analysis, gathering and analyzing information, formulating, and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations.
