Our client is embarking on an exciting journey to change how Procurement is perceived and managed within its organisation. This is a great opportunity to be part of that journey

Due to a recent restructure, and a move to Strategic Sourcing and Contract management, our client is looking for a number of Contract and Supplier Relationship Managers to join their team.

The Contract and Supplier Managers support the delivery of the supplier and contract management strategies within their assigned category. This involves delivering best practice contract lifecycle management, and fostering cohesive, transparent relationships with suppliers to deliver joint value creation. In addition, the Contract and Supplier Managers coordinate with contract end users, providing ongoing communication and support, and assist the Sourcing Managers in the review and finalisation of contracts to ensure commercially competitive agreements and drive value maximisation.

We are looking for Contract and Supplier Manager specialists who can help the business manage contracts in a consistent manner, working towards a more centralised approach to contract management.

You will also be responsible for developing frameworks and tools and creating a community where learning and ideas are shared.


  • Bachelor's degree in a business administration, commerce, finance, engineering or other relevant discipline (and/or qualified by demonstrable experience).
  • Recognised relevant qualification in procurement e.g. MCIPS or equivalent
  • Strong experience in procurement and/or in contract and supplier relationship management
  • Microsoft Office suite including advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven experience of developing supplier relationships and managing supplier performance in a complex environment
  • Proven experience of gathering information from multiple stakeholders and analysing supplier performance
  • Detailed knowledge of contract forms and experience of contract drafting
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment (OJEU) preferred
  • Deep understanding of contractual mechanisms and contract lifecycle management Capability:
  • Excellent communication skills - including verbal, written and presenting to a group
