Do you want to work for a large engineering firm within the Aerospace Industry?
Our client have modern facilities and are growing year on year. They are now looking to recruit 3 CNC Turners/ Vertical Borers.
To set, operate & edit programs on Vertical Borers or CNC Lathes.
Candidates must be fully skilled time served and qualified to city and guilds or equivalent level. However training will be given if you have no specific Fanuc or Siemens experience.
Ideally applicants should have experience of producing high quality precision components in a range of materials including Aluminium, Stainless steels and nickel alloys.

- be able to use metrology devices to inspect components
- have a keen eye for details and be able to complete necessary paperwork

The firm is situated near to the M61 and St Peters Way so easily accessible from the motorways.
Hours of work:
Choice of permanent Days, Rotating 12 hour shifts or Nights.
Days: 07.45 - 16.30 Mon-Thurs & Fri: 07.45 - 12.21.
Rotating day shifts: 3 x 12 shifts. (A 2 week rotating shift pattern (sun, mon, tue & wed, thu, fri).
Nights: Mon-Wed: 19.30 - 07.00 plus Thursday: 19.30 - 23.30.
The initial training / familiarity will be on Days Monday to Friday paying £12.99 per hour, then moving on to the 12 hour shifts.
Shift allowances apply to Nights and rotating 12 hour days.
Nights: £140.88 per week.
Rotating Days: £108.76 per week.
