The Clinical Supervisor/School Based Counselor is responsible for providing management, guidance and coaching to clinical staff who work with at risk students in the Greater Cleveland School districts as well as some surrounding suburbs. They will also provide behavioral health counseling, assessments, as well as other therapeutic services including clinical case management, consultation and prevention groups for children and families to assist clients and families with skill development, anger management, managing mental, emotional and behavior symptomology.
This position will work collaboratively with school administration and staff in the school setting to provide them, as well as the identified students with consultative support. Services to be provided primarily in the school but also in the community and home setting during non-school time. This position requires flexibility of schedule and ability to travel in response to the needs of families.
A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling and LPCC-S is required and 2 years prior experience providing clinical supervision of staff who delivers mental health services in the school and community. The successful candidate must have prior experience treating complex clients as well as demonstrate administrative understanding of the school and community setting. A full comprehension of Medicaid standards of services, billing, documentation and file audits are essential for this position.
