Client Facing Business AnalystThe Client Facing Business Analyst not only support external & internal clients providing expertise and guidance, they also provide knowledge and business guidance to the IT department in understanding the enterprise's operational needs for both automated and manual solutions to business systems and procedures of moderate scope. The Business Analyst is involved in planning, organizing and conducting detailed analytical studies to define problems, identify deficiencies and improve solutions which impact the enterprise's effectiveness, and provide the basis for issue resolution. The Business Analyst is responsible for overseeing the system definition and design processes within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). They collaborate with users to define business requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities to achieve process improvements. Influences the research, design and successful delivery of not only client level code enhancements, but also new and innovative solutions that meet business objectives and ensure achievement of planned milestone.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?Strategic management and maintenance of client's entire solution(s) in conjunction with account managementAbility to present mock-ups, review existing client settings/output and requirement documentation via Teams (or other similar type of tool)Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements with limited supervisionRespond to customer incoming inquiries in a manner consistent with department protocolResearches, devises, and modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired resultsAnalysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications including but not limited to basic test cases to support requirement specification unit testing, documented system and client workflowsDrive escalations to resolution regardless of complexityGuides the design, development and documentation of internal system process workflows and various implementation activities that deliver business solutions required of the businessAct as subject matter expert within the product of responsibility to include: answering team member questions/coaching, providing quality peer reviews, UAT, publishing job aid documentation, acting as the Operations Product liaison managing all levels of issues/enhancements/research across all areas of the business & training internal and external clients on tools/products and advising them of solution and industry best practicesMeet guidelines for individual and team Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)Communicate the business directives, goals and needs to the technical team and serve as business interface from the enterprise's operational management team managing expectations and defining business satisfaction metricsLeads recurring client meetings to discuss current activities, client satisfaction, metrics and potential new offeringsSuccessfully analyze and create technical specifications/requirements for projects within set timeframes and meeting business needsCreate, maintain and drive creation of new and existing processes / workflows as neededPerforming trend analysis across tickets and clientsProduction and or contribution to library of quality test cases to support unit testingWhat are the requirements needed for this position?Bachelor's degree in business administration/related field or Three+ years' experience in business systems analysis, design, modeling, relational database, technical writing and design and analysis roleStrong understanding and experience with technical systems; ability to identify technical solutions for business problemsStrong organizational and project management skillsAbility to interact with internal staff at all levelsExcellent oral and written skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal staffAbility to develop and deliver presentation materialsAbility to formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and due diligenceEnd client experience requiredMS Office proficiency requiredWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and the information exchange between providers, clearinghouses, payers and employersDemonstrates a strong drive to achieve meaningful resultsDrives tasks to successful completion and closureShows determination in the face of obstacles and setbacks.Sets high standards for own performanceMonitors progress of performance and changes approach accordingly.Takes ownership of own work.Takes responsibility for successes and failures in own work.Follows through on commitments.Searches for ways to improve customer service.Follows up with customers to ensure problems are solved.Independently anticipates and meets customer needs.Internalizes customer feedback and provides innovative ideas to meet their future needs.What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
