We are working on behalf of a leading light steel construction company that focuses on the design, manufacture and site installation of complex walling systems including cladding and curtain walling. They operate in many construction sectors including residential, commercial, health, education, student accommodation and leisure.
Due to increased business gains they are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join their existing team in Stonehouse, Gloucester and will operate on a UK-wide basis.
Your role as a Business Development Manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. Furthermore, fundamental to the role is following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings, planning and preparing presentations, communicating new product developments to prospective clients, overseeing the development of marketing literature, writing reports, and providing management with feedback
The client has active contracts throughout the UK so regular travel will be required to service them and generate new business with new clients predominantly in London. It is essential that interested parties hold a full UK Driving Licence. A company car will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have business development experience in the construction sector and ideally linked to cladding and/or curtain walling.
