The Business Development Director will build and lead a high performing team of business development professionals and work effectively with senior business development leadership as well as business leaders. The candidate will be pivotal in developing business strategy, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and interfacing with customers and partners. You will attract new clients and partners, build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. The successful applicant will be competitive, resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. A background in betting and/or gaming industry is strongly desirable. Primary Responsibilities: Keep up to date with the company's vision and mission, seek to accomplish set goals and objectives. Lead a team of business development professionals. Develop the overall strategy for business development. Determine key requirements to enter new markets Perform market analysis Devise and implement a sales and marketing strategy for the purpose of seeking out new business in all relevant market segments. Deliver presentations and sales pitches Work with the various departments (e.g. Product, Technology, Trading and Marketing) to learn about the company's solutions and translate that into clear, attractive presentations and documents; Negotiate and close deals: Create quotes and proposals for partners; Review agreements, negotiate and lead the partners and the teams through the deal process. Cultivate strong relationships with new clients, while maintaining existing client relationships. Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events. Research and analyze potential business growth opportunities from existing clients and create a prospect list for targeting. Develop business models to assist business units in making better informed spending decisions, validating ROI assumptions and providing trade-off analysis scenarios to help maximize returns. Generate business from leads and new business contacts through attending face to face meetings to build lasting relationships Knowledge/Expertise/Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant work experience. Educated to degree level. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, management and organizational skills with a proven track record. Understanding of betting and gaming industry. Demonstrated proficiency in leading and effectively facilitating sales meetings. Experience in business modelling. Commercial mind. Experience in contract negotiations. Clear communicator. Demonstrated success in developing, building and managing relationships with client organizations. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients. Attention to detail. Highly organized. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
