BSUH Audiology is pleased to be able to offer a new role of Audiology Apprentice at a band 2 and fixed for 5 years. This employed role requires no specific prior experience or registration but it will be offered to an applicant with a clear understanding of the role of Audiology in patient support and with a motivation to make a positive impact towards patients' lives.

The role will be full time but part of the weekly schedule will be theoretical training at University and part will be clinical training within the department. The training is a five year commitment and so we are looking for applicants who have considered the profession carefully.

Candidates must have GCSE's in both Maths and English at level C or above or equivalent. It will be necessary for the successful apprentices to have a willingness to learn combined with a desire and the commitment to complete this Apprenticeship.

  • Posts in the Trust are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal spent and unspent convictions, reprimands, and cautions.
  • Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions)
