As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will inspire others to live a healthy way of life by encouraging their involvement with Life Time through our best-in-class people, places and programs. In this role, you will support the Sales Manager in providing leadership, direction, and supervision to the sales team. You will also assist in the creation, maintenance, and execution of the Sales Department business plans and adjust as needed to deliver results at or above company expectation in member acquisition & retention.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Member Experience
  • Assures high quality customer service skills and compliance with all club and departmental standard operating procedures

Sales & Promotion
  • Demonstrates exemplary sales skills by encouraging personal daily, weekly and monthly acquisition goals are met through persistent and enthusiastic outreach
  • Aligns with Sales Manager to learn and develop the capacity to lead a successful sales team through ownership of weekend production and additional responsibilities

Financial & Budgetary
  • Monitors revenue and unit totals daily to ensure Account Managers are achieving or exceeding individual and team goals

Managerial & Supervisory
  • Coaches team as needed to ensure they are achieving or exceeding company expectations
  • Supports the recruitment of top talent through partnerships and prospecting to continuously grow your team of Account Managers

Education & Experience

  • College degree preferred
  • Polished and professional appearance
  • Minimum 1-3 years of sales and customer service experience
  • Ability to engage and exude confidence with distinguished clientele
  • Self-motivated and self-starter
  • Experience in meeting and exceeding goals in a performance based culture
  • Personal passion and commitment for living a healthy way of life
  • Desire to learn and adapt in an ever-changing environment
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoys and works well on a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations
  • Completion of Life Time University Account Manager Certification required within 30 days of starting the position if not current
