NSB Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Associate level Mechanical QA Director to work in our clients Manchester office, providing a company wide lead on Mechanical design quality and standardisation.
Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing sustainable solutions to meet the planning, engineering design and project delivery needs of the property, infrastructure, environment and energy markets.
Their Building Services team are currently recruiting for a mechanically biased engineer to support the business in maintaining the quality of their design output to ensure it continues to be of the highest quality and is compliant with all relevant standards.
Working with the Director currently fulfilling this role electrically, you will be responsible for reviewing all design output for a variety of mechanical designs, checking for their accuracy, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of standardised methods across the business. The role will also involve the production of feasibility designs at RIBA stages 1 & 2, for development by their Engineers.
The successful Associate level Mechanical QA Director will have the following skills and experience:
To fulfill this role you will need to be degree qualified and be C.Eng & MCIBSE. You will need to be able to demonstrate experience gained over a prolonged period in the production and delivery of building services mechanical designs across a variety of sectors and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports.
