Job Role: Assistant ExecutiveHousekeeper  PRE-OPENINGROLE  Due tothe current VISA RESTRICTIONS only candidates from within the UAEwith a current UAE Residence Visa can be considered for thisvacancy An AssistantExecutive Housekeeper will support all Housekeeping and Laundryoperations including the development of the Team Members with inthe group so to provide an exceptional experience for ourGuests. As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper,you will be responsible for assisting with overseeing housekeepingoperations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. AnAssistant Executive Housekeeper will also be required to assist theExecutive Housekeeper and monitor standards. Specifically, you willbe responsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards: Assist with overseeingHousekeeping/Laundry operations Operate withindepartmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls andwell managed schedules Support departmentaltargets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies andprocedures Ensure consistently high operatingstandards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, as identifiedby the hotel brand standards Perform routineinspections of all Housekeeping areas and report any issues to theExecutive Housekeeper Implement, effectively,all Housekeeping policies and procedures including Health andSafety and security Monitor the appearance,standards, and performance of all Housekeeping Team Members with anemphasis on training and team work Ensure teammembers have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories andamenities Assist the Executive Housekeeper tomaintain good communication and work relationships in all hotelareas and with external customers and suppliersEnsure staffing levels cover business demandsEnsure ongoing training to support the ExecutiveHousekeeper Ensure communication meetings areconducted Manage staff performance issues incompliance with company policies and proceduresSupport managing, training and developing theteam Deputise in absence of the ExecutiveHousekeeper Provide excellent guestservice Assist other departments wherevernecessary To successfully fill thisrole, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, andvalues that follow: Housekeeping/laundry experience in thehotel/leisure/retail sector in a managerial or supervisorycapacity A high school certificate orequivalent High level of commercial awarenessand cost control capabilities Proficiency, ata basic level, with computers and computer programs, includingMicrosoft Office Excellent leadership,interpersonal and communication skillsCommitted to delivering high levels of customerservice Ability to work underpressure Excellent groomingstandards Flexibility to respond to a range ofdifferent work situations Knowledge ofWorkplace, Health, Safety and Hygiene is essentialStrong communication skills Apassion for delivering exceptional levels of guestservice It would be advantageous inthis position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities anddistinctions: Familiar with PropertyManagement Systems Experience managing adepartment and Profit and Loss account Highlevel of IT proficiency
