Job Role: Assistant Director ofSales  Due tothe current VISA RESTRICTIONS only candidates from within the UAEwith a current UAE Residence Visa can be considered for thisvacancy  AnAssistant Director of Sales manages the hotel sales and marketingplans by recommending growth efforts, monitoring progress, andensuring that the hotel is competitively positioned within thelocal marketplace. As Assistant Director ofSales, you will be responsible for working closely with the SeniorManagement Team to drive business needs and expand existingbusiness through promotional efforts and sales channels. AnAssistant Director of Sales will work to develop the sales groupand groom a high-performing sales team. Specifically, you will beresponsible for performing the following tasks to the higheststandards: Manage hotel sales andmarketing plans to ensure they accurately interpret andsupport the objectives of the business and use these plans to focusthe sales efforts for all market segments Workclosely with the Senior Management Team to identify and drivefocused activities on elements of the business that requireadditional support Contribute to thedevelopment of company sales and marketing initiatives byrecommending, implementing and monitoring appropriate localactivity Organise comprehensive informationdescribing the range of products and services offered by the hoteland deliver this information through relevant sales resources andsales channels to existing and potential GuestsProduce accurate and timely reports that meet the needsof the hotel and the management companyPrepare and present, on a monthly basis, thecontribution, focus and activity of the proactive sales team to thehotel owners and senior management teamCooperate with other departments in the hotel,particularly Reservations and the Banqueting Department, to createan exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensivesales programs Contribute to relevantmanagement meetings to develop and implement sales and marketinginitiatives Prepare company contracts for thehotel in accordance with current business and pricingconditions Monitor offers, options anddiscounts for repeat bookings for groups, congresses and seminarsin close cooperation with the Group Coordinator To successfully fill this role, you shouldmaintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values thatfollow: Positive attitude and goodcommunication skills Commitment to deliveringa high level of customer service Excellentgrooming standards Strong leadership skills,whereas it is evident that you can effectively manage and motivatea team to perform beyond expectations Stronganalytical skills so to understand key business indicators andcompetitive trends and develop approaches to thesechallenges Excellent selling capabilities andthe ability and desire to coach selling techniques to TeamMembers Excellent organisational and planningskills Experience in a similar role with aproven track record It would beadvantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the followingcapabilities and distinctions: Knowledge of local market Knowledgeof hospitality Passion for sales and forachieving targets and objectives Degree-levelqualification in a relevant field would be advantageous
