Administrative Accounting Assistant Robert Half Finance Accounting has partnered with a well-established and respected company in the manufacturing industry in their search of an Administrative Accounting Assistant. As the Administrative Accounting Assistant, you will be reporting to the Office Manager of the company. If you take responsibility for matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assist in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), you can advance your career in this Accounting Clerk position with a well-known, successful organization. What you get to do every day: - Manage the incoming phone calls on a daily basis. - File vendor invoices and disbursements and match file A/P invoices to support accounts payable - Produce statements and reports using a variety of sources - Complete other related duties and assist with special projects as needed - Support Accounts Receivable by processing daily invoices/credit, applying cash receipts, and helping with collection of past due balances Desired Experience: - 2+ years of administrative and accounting experience - Effective communication skills comfortable handling phone calls - Team player - Comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities; both administrative-wise and accounting-related For immediate consideration, please email a MS Word version of your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé] . - Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data - 2+ years of accounting experience required - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended - Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds - Accounts payable experience - Switchboard phone (1-10 lines) experience - Deep understanding of billing - AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
