Job description

One of Cleveland's finest downtown companies is seeking an Accounting Manager to manage the daily operations of their accounting department.

General responsibilities include:

  • Manage daily activities of the accounting department..

  • Assist with month end close reporting and activities.

  • Develop and implement improvements for departmental efficiency

  • Oversee any special billing preparation.
  • Handle client inquiries for billing information upon request.

  • Manage client e-billing requirements.

  • Manage the review and approval process of foreign associate invoices.

  • Generate weekly and monthly reports.

  • Conduct performance evaluations; mentor and provide guidance to accounting staff.

  • Training new hires on position specific accounting procedures

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of accounting and billing experience in a professional services environment. Prior management experience is considered a plus. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. Experience with Elite or CMS accounting software is preferred.
